The latest edition of the Fightful Select Answers Q&A had an update on the contract status of former TNA Tag Team Champions The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz), along with reigning NXT and TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys (Matt and Jeff Hardy). It looks like both teams are in a contract year.

Per Sean Ross Sapp on the latest edition of the Fightful Weekly Q&A Podcast, The Rascalz’s TNA contracts will be up at the end of 2025. Additionally, it’s noted that Myron Reed was working without a contract as of August.

Additionally, Fightful notes that The Hardys’ current TNA contracts are scheduled to expire in November. TNA reportedly wants to keep them under contract for a long time, as recently stated by TNA President Carlos Silva on social media. He wrote at the time, “Thank you to Matt and Jeff for being part of the @ThisIsTNA team. Such a pleasure to work with you and look forward to many years of positive vibes together.”

Sapp also says he hasn’t heard if Matt and Jeff have signed new TNA deals, noting that they will both likely get an “insane money” offer to get them on the upcoming WrestleMania 43 card in Saudi Arabia, which is scheduled for 2027.

The Hardys Set for Action Later Tonight at NXT Halloween Havoc

In the meantime, The Hardys are scheduled to defend their NXT Tag Team Titles later tonight at Halloween Havoc. They’ll be facing former champions, DarkState, in a Broken Rules Match.

The Hardys previously defeated DarkState to win the NXT Tag Team Titles at TNA vs. NXT Showdown earlier this month, making Matt and Jeff the simultaneous NXT and TNA Tag Team Champions.

NXT Halloween Havoc 2025, featuring The Hardys vs. DarkState in Broken Rules, takes place later tonight at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott, Arizona. The show airs live on Peacock in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
