WWE will put the first hour of both WrestleMania 42 nights on ESPN networks, as announced on Friday. It was announced on Friday’s episode of WWE Smackdown that the first hour of WrestleMania 42 night one will air on ESPN2. Meanwhile, the first hour of WrestleMania 42 night two will air on ESPN.

This marks the first time that any portion of a WWE PLE has aired live on ESPN. It’s part of WWE’s partnership with ESPN, who began hosting all main roster PLEs exclusively on ESPN Unlimited in the United States starting last fall. The deal started with WrestlePalooza in September.

WrestleMania 42 will take place on April 18th and April 19th and emanates from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada for the second year in a row. Internationally, the show airs on Netflix. The announced card for the show at this point is as follows:

* World Heavyweight Championship Match: CM Punk) vs. Roman Reigns.
* Women’s World Championship Match: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan.
* Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Drew McIntyre vs. men’s Elimination Chamber winner.
* WWE Women’s Championship Match: Jade Cargill vs. Women’s Elimination Chamber winner.
* Open Challenge: Brock Lesnar vs. TBD.

411 will of course have live coverage of both nights of the show.
