Tiffany Stratton Says She’s Skeptical About Chelsea Green Ahead of SummerSlam, Knows All of Jade Cargill’s Weaknesses

WWE Women’s US Champion Tiffany Stratton joined ESPN SportsCenter this week to promote this weekend’s WWE SummerSlam 2026. Stratton is competing in a Ladder Match for the Interim WWE Women’s Title. Below are some highlights:

Tiffany Stratton on What She Learned From Her Past Matchups Against Jade Cargill

“I think I learned a lot from our matches. I feel like I know all the ins and outs of Jade Cargill. I know all of her weaknesses. I know all of her strengths. So, um, she may be the first woman I’m going to go after in this match. You have to wait and see.”

On Her Relationship With Chelsea Green

“So, Chelsea and I have come such a long way. She used to kind of bully me a little bit back in the day. She kind of kicked me when I was down, and now all of a sudden she kind of wants to be my friend. So, I’ve kind of been a little bit skeptical, but I’ve been coming around to her, and I think she trusts me just as much as I trust her. So, I think that’s even more of a reason to tune in to this ladder match. So, we’ll have to wait and see. Last time we were in a ladder match, I was the one that pushed her off and reached up for that Money in the Bank briefcase and became Miss Money in the Bank. So, this year, maybe it’ll be the same. Maybe it’ll be different. I don’t know.”

On Wrestling at SummerSlam in Her Hometown

“So, it’s really cool this time because SummerSlam is one of the big four PLE’s that we have. I think it’s our second biggest PLE, behind WrestleMania, which is our Super Bowl of wrestling. So, it’s really cool to have this in Minnesota and have the US title for it and possibly being able to become Tiffy 2 titles in my hometown in front of all my friends and family. So, I’m super excited to kind of have my first big match in Minnesota. I’ve actually only wrestled one time in my 5-year career there. So, I’m super excited, and it’s just all going to be so surreal. Okay, we’re looking forward to it.”

Tiffany Stratton competes for the interim WWE Women’s Championship in a Five-Way Ladder Match this weekend at WWE SummerSlam 2026: Night 2 on Sunday, August 2. She’ll be competing against Jade Cargill, Chelsea Green, Charlotte Flair, and either Giulia or Lash Legend.

The event is being held at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It will air live on the ESPN App in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
