Details On Backstage Reaction to Solo Sikoa Following Babyface Turn

Solo Sikoa is on a babyface run at the moment, and a new report has some details on the reaction to how it’s going. Sikoa has made a transition to babyface since the MFTs broke up, including his offer to have Seth Rollins’ back against Roman Reigns at WWE SummerSlam. Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that Sikoa’s work as of late has earned “significant praise” from a source within the WWE creative team.

That source noted thart Sikoa has had a natural charisma that has been on display backstage for years, and one talent noted that he is one of the funniest members of the roster backstage. The same person said that they’re very pleased to see Sikoa be able to show off his personality more on TV.

The report goes on to say that while Sikoa’s babyface turn was originally intended to be a short-term one, there is speculation that it could become a longer-term situation considering how well his work has been received.

Sikoa has been part of the WWE main roster since September of 2022 and debuted there as part of The Bloodline. He eventually took over the group after Roman Reigns took time off after his WrestleMania 40 loss, then feuded with a returning Reigns from SummerSlam 2024 through Raw’s January 6th, 2025 premiere on Netflix. He formed the MFTs afterward out of his loyalists in the Bloodline.
