Alexa Bliss Responds to Online Rumors of Her Retirement

Alexa Bliss had her first televised match in two months last night at Sunday Night’s Main Event. She teamed with Charlotte Flair & Tatum Paxley in a losing effort against Jade Cargill, B-Fab & Michin. While Alexa looked fine in her in-ring return and has regularly been on television with Charlotte Flair while out of action due to injury, fans on social media have speculated that she wasn’t too interested in returning to wrestling.

Some fans even speculated that Alexa Bliss was uninterested and looking to retire because she had previously worn the gear she wore for her return match on Sunday. Bliss took to social media and got in someone’s replies to refute the suggestion. She wrote, “Or… my gear is extremely Expensive & I wanna get as many uses of it as I can.”

In fairness to Alexa, up until recently wrestlers were known for wearing the same gear on a regular basis and only switched it up for special occasions. Now, most wrestlers seem to spend a lot of money on gear every week, and everyone feels compelled to keep up. Online speculation is what it is, but there’s no reason for an Alexa Bliss retirement to be on the radar.
