Thunder Rosa may not be the biggest fan of Persephone and Britt Baker, but she gives them credit for pushing her to be her best. Rosa has been locked into a feud with Persephone in recent weeks since the latter star won the AEW TBS Championship from Maya World at AEW All In in late August. Persephone revealed her alliance with the returning Baker, a longtime rival of Rosa, during the match.

Rosa named the two during her appearance on the Battleground Podcast when asked about talent who have pushed her to be her best. She spoke about her history with both women and also shouted out Deonna Purrazzo and the currently absent Toni Storm. You can see the highlights below:

On Persephone:

“One of the people that — I although I’m not in good — we’re at odds right now, but she always brings the best out of me is Persephone. That woman right there — as much as I hate her, she is the present and the future of professional wrestling, and I’ve said it before. I’ve seen her on the up and up. She was in my first show in Mission Pro Wrestling like six years ago. And I’ve seen her rise. She’s an opportunistic person, of course. But that doesn’t take [away] the fact that she’s very talented. And when you’re an opportunistic and talented person, the universe is the limit. I’m serious. Like, that woman has so much to come for her, and you guys need to watch where she’s going. And like she’s one.”

On Baker:

“Unfortunately I have to say this one, as much as I hate her, is Brett Baker. That’s another one. She pushed me to my limit, and we push each other to our limit. But there was always something, good or bad, that she brought out of me. And that’s what you want from an opponent, right? They have to push you to your limit, and that’s the only way that you’re going to be better.”

On Other Stars Who Have Pushed Her:

“Deonna, that’s another one. She’s like the brains, she’s just a mind like the mind of professional wrestling. She’s great, she’s a wonderful storyteller, too. I really enjoy my time working with her. I wish we would have done more stuff on Dynamite so people would have watched like how wonderful of a story we had in 2023, was it 2024? So, um those are the ones that I really enjoy working. And the last one who I think everybody likes to work with her, is Toni, ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm.”
