Latest On Possible Toni Storm Return Following Storyline Teases

Toni Storm is being teased for a possible return to AEW TV, but it reportedly won’t be happening right away. As noted, content creator Astrid Pizarro received a set of “Toni Storm tapes” at AEW WrestleDream that seemed to indicate Storm could be coming back into AEW storylines soon. The former Women’s World Champion has been off TV since she was written out via an mysterious attack on the episode of AEW Dynamite following AEW Revolution in March.

Fightful Select cites sources as saying that Storm is not scheduled to return imminently, but that there could be “other elements involving her” that get woven into AEW TV. There has been no word of Storm being around at many, if any, AEW shows.

It was reported back in March that Storm was not expected to available to return until the end of the year at the earliest, but most likely at some point in 2027. The absence is not said to be related to an injury, though any details beyond that have been kept quiet and something Tony Khan has refused to discuss.
