The story of Adam Nedeff is one of random pop culture references, steak sandwiches, and steak sandwiches. He was born in Vienna, West Virginia. In 1988, he made his television debut as an audience member on "The Mister Cartoon Show," a role for which he received critical acclaim from his parents and grandparents alike. The following year, he began watching professional wrestling, to the disdain of his parents and grandparents alike. On June 26, 1990, he painted his face like Ultimate Warrior and attended his first event, a "WWF Wrestling Challenge" taping at the Huntington Civic Center. 11 years later, he returned to Huntington as a student at Marshall University, where he majored in Radio & Television with a minor in English. His accomplishments there included producing & hosting a weekly comedy show on WMUL-FM, as well as accidentally setting a fire that required evacuation of his dorm building. Until that night, Adam had always wondered why popcorn bags had labels reading "Do not leave unattended in microwave." During his senior year, Adam produced his audio thesis, a 30-minute documentary for radio about TV game shows and their social impact on Huntington, WV and its surrounding area. Adam came up with the topic while loopy on NyQuil. He won four awards. Following graduation, Adam returned to Parkersburg and worked as a part-time board operator for Results Radio (95XIL, 103.1 The Bear, Z-106, Froggy 99) where he developed a recurring character segment called "What's in Ned's Head." After nine months of dedicated service, Adam walked in one day and told his boss that he could no longer work on Wednesdays because he had to get a second job. The following week, Adam's boss scheduled him to come in on a Wednesday, then fired him for not showing up. Adam's boss will probably die alone, and deservedly so. He was immediately hired by WMOA in Marietta, OH, where he worked the 6-midnight shift as a disc jockey for one year until deciding, more or less on a whim, to move to Los Angeles and see what might happen. He has worked for "Wheel of Fortune" and "The Price is Right" and is currently a photographer by day, looking for someone to publish the Great American Novel that he's written. In case you were wondering, his last name is pronounced "Need-if."
