John Cena Discusses Return as DC’s Peacemaker in Mortal Kombat 1 Trailer

Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios released a new behind-the-scenes trailer for Mortal Kombat 1, featuring John Cena talking about his return as DC’s Peacemaker as one of the guest fighters for the game. Peacemaker, featuring the voice and likeness of Cena, is available now as part of the early access period for Kombat Pack owners. He’ll be available for wide released tomorrow (March 6).

Cena starred as Peacemaker in The Suicide Squad film and his own series, Peacemaker, on Max. Peaceameker, featuring the voice and likeness of John Cena as the character, in Mortal Kombat 1 features the Christopher Smith’s expert gunslinging abilities, signature helmet abilities, and his loyal bald eagle sidekick Eagly. Gamers will also be happy to know the Peacemaker DLC also features the character’s legendary dance moves and brash humor. Peacemaker, aka Christopher Smith, arrives in the Mortal Kombat Universe to challenge Liu Kang’s New Era of peace, and he’ll take on anyone and everyone who gets in his way.

Other upcoming MK1 Kombat Pack fighters include Ermac, Homelander, and Takeda Takahashi. Mortal Kombat 1 is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PC. There will also be a Free Trial Weekend from March 7-10 on those platforms featuring the base roster and Kameo Fighters, all online and local multiplayer modes, Towers Mode, Story Mode for Chapters 1 & 2, and Invasions Mode for Johnny Cage’s Mansion.
