An Official Doctor Who RPG Using D&D 5E System Is In the Works

An official Doctor Who RPG using D&D’s Fifth Edition rules is currently in the works. Cubicle 7, which currently has pre-orders for the second edition of their Doctor Who: The Roleplaying Game open with a March 28th release date set, has confirmed that a RPG product line from the IP using the 5E ruleset called Doctors and Daleks is in development.

No release date has yet been confirmed for the version, though it was noted that the first release will be the Doctors and Daleks Player’s Guide and is “coming soon.”

Doctor Who has been a regular fixture of the TTRPG set, with FASA publishing The Doctor Who Role Playing Game in 1985 and 1986. Virgin Publishing published Time Lord in 1996, and Cubicle 7 began publishing Doctor Who: Adventures in Time And Space in 2009. The game became known as Doctor Who Roleplaying Game with the publication of the Twelfth Doctor Edition of the game in 2015.
