If Floyd Mayweather doesn’t come to terms with the UFC on the heavily-anticipated fight between him and Conor McGregor, there may be a backup waiting in the wings. Top Rank Boxing CEO Bob Arum spoke with TMZ and said that Manny Pacquiao is willing to step in if Mayweather doesn’t sign on board. You can see the video below.

“If McGregor is still looking for an opponent, Manny Pacquiao is there,” Arum, who promotes Pacquiao, said. Arum was involved in the lengthy negotiations to get Mayweather to fight Pacquiao. Mayweather won that fight in May 2015 by unanimous decision.

Arum said his advice to White would be, “Be patient, don’t give in. Dana’s a good negotiator, and he’ll get the thing done. But he can’t be pushed around by Mayweather and his people.”
