Cub Swanson Not Interested in Fighting Jose Aldo at UFC 233, Suggests Later Fight

Cub Swanson says that he’s not willing to rematch Jose Aldo at UFC 233, but is down for a fight a few weeks later. Swanson took to Twitter to rule out reports that he was set to face Aldo at the event, claiming that someone “spoke too soon.”

The fighter went on to note that he’s willing to take on Aldo at UFC on ESPN 1, which is set to take place on February 17th. You can see his post below:

I love this fight but unfortunately somebody spoke too soon. I am not fighting on 233 but I am willing to do it February 17th on ESPN 1
