Francis Ngannou Also Says UFC Not Willing to Make Jon Jones Fight Happen

Francis Ngannou seems to be on the same page with Jon Jones, taking to Twitter to say that he doesn’t think UFC is willing to make the Jon Jones fight happen and pay what he thinks the fight is worth.

“In my opinion, the @ufc aren’t willing to make this Jon fight happens or at least for what it worth 💰”

“2) No title fight, no super fight, who knows when going to be my next fight 😤. Hope it’s not in another 11 months or so. #ThisIsSucks”

Jones also took to Twitter to complain about the situation, saying he is not willing to come back to the UFC right now after his negotiations with the company didn’t go the way he was looking for it to. Jones posted to his Twitter account on Thursday noting that he is “currently in negotiation” but shortly after said that the company wasn’t willing to pay him more for a superfight with Francis Ngannou or a move to heavyweight.

Jones added that the UFC tried to tempt him saying he could “possibly earn more in pay-per-view buys” and said “It’s been fun you guys, maybe I’ll see you in a year or two…Maybe when they’re ready to do better business I’ll come back, until then health fitness and family.”
