Ion Cutelaba Confirms Withdrawal From UFC on ESPN+ 1, Hopes For Quick Rebooking

– Ion Cutelaba has confirmed that he will not face Glover Teixeira at UFC on ESPN+ 1 as planned. Cutelaba announced that he’s out of the fight due to injury following an initial report earlier today, as noted on Instagram below. Cutelaba noted that the unidsclosed injury will require four weeks of recovery time, and hopes the company will be able to push the planned fight to a later card.

UFC on ESPN+ 1 takes place on January 19th in Brooklyn, New York. The card will stream on ESPN+.
