At last night’s UFC Fight Night 131 event, Jarred Brooks lost to Jose Torres when he knocked himself out with something that looked like a shoot “Canadian Destroyer.” Torres spoke with MMA Junkie about his 26-pound weight cut for the last minute booking…
“That was easily the hardest weight cut mentally that I’ve ever done. Physically, I knew we could do it. But mentally, it’s draining on the body.”
Following the successful cut and win, he now plans to enjoy a trip to the ice cream shop, courtesy of his weight management specialist.
