Jussier Formiga Thinks It’s Time He Got a Title Shot After UFC Fight Night 117 Win

Jussier Formiga is hopeful for a title shot following his win over Ulka Sasaki at UFC Fight Night 117 over the weekend. Formiga spoke with MMAjunkie and said that following his first-round submission win, he’s hopeful that a shot at the flyweight championship isn’t far behind.

“Some of the guys that I beat got a chance (at the title),” Formiga said. “So I think it’s my time. But if the UFC decides not, I’m an employee of the company, and I’ll keep on fighting.”
