Kimbo Slice vs. James Thompson to Headline Bellator 158 in London

According to mmajunkie.com, Bellator President Scott Coker appeared on ESPN and announced that Kimbo Slice (6-2 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) and James Thompson (20-16 MMA, 1-1 BMMA) will compete in the main event of Bellator 158. The fight is a rematch of one of the most watched MMA fights of all time.

The fight announcement comes as a surprise to many, as Slice tested positive for the steroid nandrolone following his fight with Dhafir “Dada500” Harris at Bellator 149. Coker announced that Slice only received a 90-day suspension for the infraction.

A rematch between Josh Koscheck (17-10 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) and Paul Daley (38-13-2 MMA, 4-0 BMMA) is also set for the show. Bellator 158 takes place July 16 at The O2 in London and will air on Spike TV.
