Ovince Saint Preux Ready To Re-book Fight With Mauricio Rua

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Ovince Saint Preux (21-10 MMA, 9-5 UFC) said he’s ready to re-book his upcoming fight with Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua (25-10 MMA, 9-8 UFC). Saint Preux beat Yushin Okami (34-11 MMA, 13-6 UFC) by first round submission at UFC Fight Night 117. Okami replaced Shogun, who was forced out with an injury. Here are highlights:

On who he wants to fight next: “I definitely came here to fight ‘Shogun’ and definitely want to fight ‘Shogun’. But whoever’s ahead of me right now.”

On the two fighters ahead of him who beat him: “I have two losses I think about, to Volkan and Jimmy. Definitely I’d love to have those back. So whatever the UFC wants to do from here.”
