Patricky Freire Wants to Fight Will Brooks for the Title Next

Speaking to MMAjunkie in a post-fight interview after his win at Bellator 152, Patricky “Pitbull” Freire discussed wanting a title shot against lightweight champion Will Brooks. Below are some highlights.

Freire on wanting a title fight: “I don’t know (what’s next) – maybe the title? What do my fans think about Will Brooks? Everyone wants to see this fight.”

Freire on his strategy: “I think because my opponent changed one week before the fight, so I know he has one game: He had the jab and the right hand. He didn’t change the game. My strategy was slip, slip, takedown, wrestling, (jiu-jitsu).”

Freire on his win: “I think my fight (was) good. My opponent ran every time, but I won this fight. I’m very happy to be main eventing.”
