Rory MacDonald Wants to Face Gegard Mousasi at Middleweight
Following Gegard Mousasi’s win at Bellator 200, Rory MacDonald put out on Twitter that he wants to be the next challenger for the Bellator middleweight champion. You can check out MacDonald’s tweet below.
Mousasi defeated Rafael Carvalho by knockout in the first round of their bout at yesterday’s Bellator 200 event to win the Bellator middleweight title. The fight card was held at the SSE Arena in London, England. Following the bout, MacDonald wrote, “@mousasi_mma congratulations on you dominant victory, @ScottCoker @rich_chou i know you wanted a title defense from me before challenging at middle weight. but myself vs @mousasi_mma is the fight to make right now, so lets make this happen!?”
MacDonald currently holds the Bellator welterweight title, which he won at Bellator 192 last January.
