Scott Holtzman Doesn’t Want Any More Fake Teeth

Scott Holtzman has taken his lumps in his semi-pro hockey career going to MMA. Holtzman, who makes his UFC debut this weekend at Fight Night 73 against Anthony Christodoulou, told MMAjunkie ahead of the bout that he couldn’t have done MMA when he was younger.

“When I think about my fake teeth, I’m like, man, I don’t want to go through getting more fake teeth,” Holtzman told the site. “Honestly, MMA is such a hard sport, when I was younger, I don’t think I could have handled it. I’ve learned a lot and I’ve been able to gain some valuable life experience. I don’t think I was ready until now.”

The show takes place Saturday in Nashville, Tennessee.
