TUF 27 Winner Brad Katona Wants To Fight On McGregor vs. Nurmagomedov Card

In an interview with MMA Junkie, The Ultimate Fighter 27 featherweight winner Brad Katona said that he’s hoping to fight on whatever card features Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor. Here are highlights:

On fighting on UFC 231 in Toronto: “It would be my second choice. If my teammate Conor McGregor fights (lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov) for the title, I would definitely, definitely like to be on that card. Especially if the rumors are October, I’d love to be going then.”

On hoping to fight in October: “I did 12 weeks for this (fight). I don’t want to throw all that conditioning away. I want to build off it. So if I can compete around then (in October), that would be great. If that doesn’t work out, fighting in Toronto would be amazing.”

On the possibility of a foot injury: “It’s just going to be swollen. I decided to boot him right in the knee. It wasn’t a good idea looking back on it. Maybe I should stop doing that.”
