UFC Returns to Brazil in September for Fight Night Card
UFC executive David Shaw announced that the UFC will return to Brazil later this fall for a new Fight Night card. The event is slated for September 22, and it will be held at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Shaw made the announcement during last night’s post-fight press conference for UFC 224 after the event. More details and broadcast plans for the event will be revealed later on. The event will more than likely air on FS1, and prelims will be shown on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
Last night’s UFC 224 event was held at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The main card was broadcast live on pay-per-view. Prelims were held on FX and Fight Pass. You can check out 411’s live results and coverage of the event RIGHT HERE.
