Alison Brie To Play Evil-Lyn In Masters Of the Universe Film
Alison Brie is headed to Eternia, with the actress tapped to play Evil-Lyn in Masters Of the Universe. THR reports that the GLOW and Community alumna will play the villainous role in Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films’ upcoming live action film.
Brie joins a cast that includes Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam/He-Man and Camila Mendes as Teela. Travis Knight (Kubo and the Two Strings) is set to direct the film, which will adapt the famed toy and animated IP for live-action. The plot of the film is being kept under wraps for now.
Brie has been busy in recent years; she was most recently seen in Peacock’s mystery Apples Never Fall and starred in films like Somebody I Used to Know, Spin Me Round, Happiest Season, The Rental and Horse Girl. She will star in the upcoming horror film Together and the long-planned Community movie.
Masters of the Universe is set for a June 5th, 2026 release.
