Anne Hathaway Reunites With Meryl Streep in Official Teaser Trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2

20th Century Studios debuted the new teaser trailer this week for The Devil Wears Prada 2. The upcoming, long-awaited, highly anticipated sequel to the 2006 hit movie is due out in theaters next year. You can check out the newly revealed trailer below.
The new sequel features the return of Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway in their iconic roles as Miranda Priestly and Miranda Sachs. The new teaser video features Streep’s Miranda walking into an elevator before Andrea stops it and walks in, reuniting with her old boss. Miranda remarks, “Took you long enough.”
Also back from the first film are Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci. The new sequel finds Miranda, Andy, Emily, and Nigel returning to the fashionable streets of New York City and the sleek offices of Runway Magazine, almost 20 years after the original feature.
The main cast reunites with David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna. New cast members for the sequel include Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak, and Conrad Ricamora. Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman also return, reprising their roles as Lily and Irv from the original film.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 hits theaters on May 1, 2026.
