Deadline reports that Bond 25 has been pushed back to an April 8th, 2020 release. The film was originally slated to open on February 14th, 2020. With Fast and the Furious 9 moving out of that weekend, Bond 25 is now the only major movie opening that weekend.

Valentine’s Day weekend in 2020 is already scheduled to be a busy one, with a live-action Disney release, FOX’s Nimona, and a big romance film from Universal all set to open that weekend, so it makes sense that Bond 25 shifted.

Daniel Craig will be back as James Bond with Cary Joji Fukunaga (Beasts of No Nation) directing.

2012’s Skyfall remains the highest grossing Bond film ever, with $1.1 billion, but the last Bond film, 2015’s Spectre, still performed well with $880 million.
