According to The Hollywood Reporter, Captain Marvel co-writer Jac Schaeffer is set to be the showrunner for the upcoming Marvel limited series Vision and Scarlet Witch on Disney’s streaming service Disney+. The show will be one of the first new Marvel shows for the service. She will also write the pilot and executive produce. Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen are expected to reprise their roles from the Avengers films in the MCU.

This is only one of several Marvel shows in the works for Disney+, as one show will feature Tom Hiddleston as Loki while another will follow Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), with Malcolm Spellman writing.

Vision and Scarlet Witch have been a couple in the comics and that eventually translated to films after both characters first appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron. In the comics, they eventually get married and had two kids, although that was later shown to be in her imagination. Vision also created his own android family at one point. It’s unknown what the series will be about, but it will have a long history of comic appearances to draw from.
