Concept Art for Shane Black’s The Predator Reveals a More Human/Predator Hybrid

Concept artist Jared Krichevsky shared an image on his Instagram account this week that revealed a scrapped design for the greatly maligned 2018
sequel, The Predator. It appears at one point, the Shane Black film explored a more humanoid-esque Predator/human hybrid.

The new movie received a great deal of controversy for introducing the idea that the Predator creatures were splicing themselves with DNA of other creatures and humans to make themselves stronger. The reason they apparently hunt humans is to find the best specimens to splice their DNA with.

The concept art shows an alternate take on the Ultimate Predator, which would’ve been a human/Predator hybrid with more humanoid type eyes. You can check out that artwork below.
