First Fiery Clip Released From The Monkey

NEON has released the first clip from Oz Perkins’ upcoming horror film The Monkey. The studio released the clip on Wednesday, with features Perkins introducing the scene as you can see below. The scene itself teases an example of the kind of Rube Goldbergian, Final Destination style kills we’re likely to see. And for the record, I do mean “tease.”

The Stephen King adaptation is written and directed by Perkins and stars Theo James as twin brothers Hal and Bill alongside Tatiana Maslany, Elijah Wood, Laura Mennell, Christian Convery, Sarah Levy, Rohan Campbell, Colin O’Brien, and Corin Clark. It releases on February 21st, 2025 and is described as follows:

When twin brothers Bill and Hal find their father’s old monkey toy in the attic, a series of gruesome deaths start. The siblings decide to throw the toy away and move on with their lives, growing apart over the years

But when the mysterious deaths begin again, the brothers must reunite to find a way to destroy the monkey for good before it takes the lives of everyone close to them.
