First Teaser For True Detective: Night Country Unveils An Alaskan Mystery

True Detective: Night Country arrives later this year, and the official teaser has been released. HBO released the teaser for the latest installment in the crime anthology series, and you can check it out below.

The new series comes from Issa López who serves as showrunner, writer, director, and executive producer. It stars Jodie Foster (who also executive produces), Kali Reis, Fiona Shaw, Finn Bennett, Isabella Star Lablanc, Aka Niviâna, Anna Lambe, and Joel D. Montgrand with Christopher Eccleston, and John Hawkes. The show is described as follows:

When the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the eight men who operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace. To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers (Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Reis) will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves, and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.
