Harrison Ford Injures Shoulder During Indiana Jones 5 Scene Rehearsal

Harrison Ford has suffered an injury while rehearsing a scene for the currently-in-production Indiana Jones 5. Deadline reports that Ford was rehearsing a fight scene on film, which is currently shooting in the UK, when he hurt himself. While the extent of the injury is not yet known, it is known that Ford hurt his shoulder.

James Mangold, who is directing the sequel, will be shooting around Ford while he is evaluated and a course of treatment for the injury is decided on. Disney and Lucasfilm will rework the shooting schedule in the coming weeks as needed.

Ford stars in the film alongside Mads Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson and Thomas Kretschmann. It is directed from a script by Mangold and Jez and John-Henry Butterworth and is set for a July 29th, 2022 release date.
