In a Violent Nature Trailer Delivers Horror From Killer’s POV

IFC Films is releasing the buzzy slasher In a Violent Nature later this month, and a new trailer teases the film’s approach of being from the killer’s point of view. The company have released the official trailer for the film, which had its world premiere at Sundance, and you can check it out below.

The Chris Nash-directed film follows a masked killer — a vengeful spirit returned to life — as he hunts down a relic that belonged to him. When a locket is removed from a collapsed fire tower in the woods that entombs the rotting corpse of Johnny, a vengeful spirit spurred on by a horrific 60-year old crime, his body is resurrected and becomes hellbent on retrieving it.
