John Boyega Not Looking To Return To Star Wars Role

John Boyega discussed his Star Wars career and experiences with SiriusXM’s John Fugelsang recently, saying that he has no intentions to return to the screen as Finn (per ComingSoon.net). It’s no secret that Boyega has not been pleased with the franchise’s handling of the character and was openly critical of the production sidelining his role as the series continued. On if he’d ever come back to play Finn again: “At this point I’m cool off it. I’m good off it. I think, to be fair, the allies that I found within Jewel Taylor, Jamie Foxx, Teyona Paris, Viola Davis, all these people that I’ve been working with. I think Finn is at a good confirmation point where you can just enjoy him in other things, the games, the animation. But I feel like ‘[Episode] VII’ to ‘[Episode] IX’ was good for me.”
