Johnny Galecki and Juliette Lewis Join The Conners

The Hollywood Reporter brings word that both Juliette Lewis and Johnny Galecki have joined the cast of ABC’s Roseanne spinoff The Conners. Lewis will play Blue, the girlfriend that David has which he told Darlene about in the last season of Roseanne. It’s unknown how many episodes the two will be in, as Galecki is also working on The Big Bang Theory.

The news follows the announcement that Maya Lynne Robinson will replace Xosha Roquemore as Geena Williams-Conner, the wife of DJ and mother of Mary. The character was first introduced in a 1996 episode. The series will debut in October. Roseanne Barr previously said that her character will be killed off due to an opioid addiction.
