Keanu Reeves Says It Would Be ‘A Dream’ To Play Live-Action Batman

Keanu Reeves voices Batman in DC League of Super-Pets, and he says he’d love to play the role live-action if the opportunity comes up. The John Wick star spoke with Extra for a new interview on the red carpet for the animated film’s premiere and talked about voicing the role and more. You can check out a couple of highlights below:
On playing the character in the movie: “I mean, I love Batman as a character, and I love him in the comic books and in the films. So to get the opportunity to voice, to play Batman, was awesome.”
On potentially playing a live-action version: “You know, it’s always been a dream, but Pattinson’s got Batman right now and he’s doing awesome. So maybe down the road, maybe when they need an older Batman.”
DC League of Super-Pets also features the voices of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Kate McKinnon, and John Krasinski and opens on July 29th.
