Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon Set To Release In October

Martin Scorsese’s next film Killers of the Flower Moon is set to release in October. Deadline reports that the film, an adaptation of David Grann’s Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI, will release in limited theaters on October 6th following a wide release on Octobger 20th.

The Apple Original Films production is being released by Paramount and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, and Brendan Fraser. Written by Eric Roth, it’s described as follows:

In 1920s Oklahoma, the Osage Nation were the richest people per capita in the world, after oil was discovered under their land. And then they were murdered, one by one. As the death toll rose, the newly created FBI took up the case and unraveled a chilling conspiracy and one of the most monstrous crimes in American history.
