Max Announces 2024 Premiere For Welcome to Derry

The upcoming It prequel series Welcome to Derry is set to arrive next year, according to Max. The streaming service announced on Wednesday that the series, which will be a prequel to the It films, will arrive in 2024.
The announcement also confirmed previous reports that Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, and James Remar will star in the show, which will begin in the 1960s in the time leading up to the events of It: Part One. Jason Fuchs and Brad Caleb Kane will showrun the series, which will be overseen by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Fuchs. Muschietti will direct several episodes.
