Details have surfaced on the runtime of the upcoming Mission: Impossible – The Final Reconing. Per Paramount pictures, the sequel clocks in with a final runtime of two hours and 49 minutes. That’s six minutes longer than the last installment, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning.

This is also the longest installment of the franchise, which began in 1996 with Mission: Impossible, to date at 169 minutes in length. The World of Reel reports that Paramount also test screened a three hour cut of the film last month and then is said to have shaved off about ten minutes in length.

Additionally, Paramount also revealed a new behind-the-scenes featurette for the film, showcasing the production shooting on location in Svalbard. That video is available below.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who co-wrote the script with Erik Jendresen. It stars Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, Henry Czerny, Holt McCallany, Janet McTeer, Nick Offerman, Hannah Waddingham, Tramell Tillman, Shea Whigham, Greg Tarzan Davis, Charles Parnell, Mark Gatiss, Rolf Saxon, Lucy Tulugarjuk and Angela Bassett.

The Final Reckoning releases in theaters, including Dolby Cinema, 4DX, ScreenX, Premium Large Formats, and Imax on May 23. It will also debut at the Cannes Film Festival on May 14.
