Natalie Portman Shares Alternate Thor: Love & Thunder Poster

The first Thor: Love & Thunder poster arrived earlier this week, and Natalie Portman has shared an alternate noting that Chris Hemsworth’s Thor is not “the one and only.” Portman posted the poster on her Instagram account as you can see below, which is identical to the first one but features her Jane Foster as the Mighty Thor instead of Hemsworth’s Thor and a tagline that “the one is not the only.”
The original poster arrived alongside the teaser trailer. The Taika Waititi film stars Hemsworth, Portman, Tessa Thompson, Chris Pratt, Jaimie Alexander, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Jeff Goldblum, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Christian Baleand arrives on July 8th. It’s described as follows:
The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor.
