Netflix Releases First Trailer For Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The new Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie releases on Netflix next month, and the service has released the bloody first trailer. You can check out the preview for the new entry in the slasher franchise below.
The trailer introduces us to our young group of teens and young adults including Melody, Lila, Dante and Ruth, who head to the apparently abandoned town of Harlow. There they find themselves being stalked by Leatherface. Fortunately, they appear to have some help in the survivor of the original massacre in Sally Hardesty, who is offering up some real 2018 Halloween Laurie Strode vibes as she seeks revenge against Leatherface.
The film hits Netflix on February 18th and is described as follows:
Melody (Sarah Yarkin), her teenage sister Lila (Elsie Fisher), and their friends Dante (Jacob Latimore) and Ruth (Nell Hudson), head to the remote town of Harlow, Texas to start an idealistic new business venture. But their dream soon turns into a waking nightmare when they accidentally disrupt the home of Leatherface, the deranged serial killer whose blood-soaked legacy continues to haunt the area’s residents — including Sally Hardesty (Olwen Fouéré), the sole survivor of his infamous 1973 massacre who’s hell-bent on seeking revenge.
