Netflix Reveals Premiere Date, Poster for Locke & Key Series
The long-awaited Locke & Key series is nearly here, with Netflix announcing a premiere date for the horror comic-adapted series. Netflix announced on Wednesday that the show, which is based on Joe Hill’s comic book of the same name, will be released February 7th. You can check out the poster below, which depicts one of the magical keys from the series being used on what appears to be young Bode (Jackson Robert Scott).
The series also stars Darby Stanchfield as Nina Locke, Connor Jessup as eldest son Tyler Locke, Emilia Jones as Tyler and Bode’s sister Kinsey, Bill Heck as father Rendell, Laysla De Oliveira as the mysterious Dodge, Thomas Mitchell Barnet as the murderous and unhinged Sam Lesser, Griffin Gluck as Gabe, Coby Bird as Rufus Whedon, and Sherri Saum as teacher Ellie Whedon.
The synopsis reads as follows:
After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens — and will stop at nothing to steal them.
