A new trailer for Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic is online, casting the film as a battle between the rock icon and a system trying to keep him down. Warner Bros. Pictures released the new trailer for the anticipated drama on Monday, and you can check it out below.

The film stars Austin Butler as the titular rock & roll icon and Tom Hanks as manager Colonel Tom Parker, as well as Helen Thomson, Richard Roxburgh, Olivia DeJonge, Luke Bracey, Natasha Bassett, David Wenham, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Xavier Samuel, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Dacre Montgomery, Leon Ford, Kate Mulvany, Gareth Davies, Charles Grounds, Josh McConville, and Adam Dunn. The film releases on June 24th and is directed by Luhrmann. It’s described as follows:

A thoroughly cinematic drama, Elvis’s (Butler) story is seen through the prism of his complicated relationship with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker (Hanks). As told by Parker, the film delves into the complex dynamic between the two spanning over 20 years, from Presley’s rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom, against the backdrop of the evolving cultural landscape and loss of innocence in America. Central to that journey is one of the significant and influential people in Elvis’s life, Priscilla Presley (Olivia DeJonge).
