New Peacemaker Video Tells ‘The Story So Far’

HBO Max is bringing Peacemaker to fans next week, and a new featurette takes a look at the story so far. You can see the video below, which features John Cena as Peacemaker and Jennifer Holland as NSA agent Emilia Harcourt as they relate the events of The Suicide Squad from two very different perspectives (one of which is the truth).

Those events lead into the series, which sees Peacemarker and Harcourt team work together along with several other operatives to save the world from something called “Operation Butterfly” – which is apparently not about Mothra.

The series also stars Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Freddie Stroma, and Chukwudi Iwuji. Written and directed by James Gunn, it premieres on January 13th on HBO Max.
