Oscar Isaac In Talks to Star in Disney+’s Moon Knight

Marvel is going big for their upcoming Moon Knight series, with Dune and Star Wars star Oscar Isaac in talks for the role. Deadline reports that the actor is in negotiations to play Marc Spector in the upcoming series, which will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Isaac’s potential casting comes on the heels of reports that Tatiana Maslany will star in the streamer’s She-Hulk series, while Iman Vellani will play Kamala Khan in Ms. Marvel. The shows will be a full part of the MCU with potential for the cast to appear in future films and projects.

Moon Knight, aka Marc Spector, was created in 1975 and is a former mercenary who became the mortal agent of the Egyptian god Khonshu after being left for dead on a mission in Egypt. He suffers from Disassociate Identity Disorder with several alternate personalities.

There’s no word on when the series may begin production or air.
