Paramount has found the writers for their next set of Transformers movies. THR reports that Paramount and Hasbro have brought in James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, The Amazing Spider-Man) and Joby Harold (Army of the Dead) to write separate projects being developed at the same time.

Variety reports that the two films are giving Paramount the potential opportunity to build multiple storylines within the franchise. The two films would likely feature new casts; they come after Bumblebee became the rare film in the franchise to be both a success at the box office and with critics.

Variety notes that Paramount still considers the franchise a top priority and wants to get directors for each script as quickly as possible.
