RL Stine Gives Update On New Goosebumps Series In The Works

In a post on Twitter, author RL Stine revealed an update on the new version of Goosebumps is set to air on TV. He said that a producer and a director have already been hired, but offered nothing else in terms of details. The series was originally announced in April of last year, and will be produced by Scholastic Entertainment, Sony Pictures Television and Neal H. Moritz’s production company Original Film.

The original Goosebumps series began in 1995 and ran for four seasons and 74 episodes. It was followed by two theatrical films in 2015 and 2018. They are based on the series of books Stine writes that began all the way back in 1992.
