Samara Weaving, Tony Revolori Join Scream 6 Cast

Samara Weaving is jumping into Ghostface’s sights, as she and Tony Revolori have joined the cast of Scream 6. Bloody Disgusting reports that Weaving (Ready or Not) and Revolori (Spider-Man: No Way Home) are joining the cast of the currently-filming sixth film. Details on their characters have yet to be revealed.

Weaving previously worked with Scream 6 directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett on Ready or Not and had spoken with them about a role in the most recent Scream. Weaving told Collider in 2020, “We were talking about it, but our schedules aren’t gonna work, which is a bummer. We talked about it a lot, but unfortunately, because of scheduling, I couldn’t do it.”

The two actors join a cast that includes Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Jenna Ortega, and Dermot Mulroney. In addition, Hayden Panettiere will reprise her role from Scream 4 as Kirby Reed, while Courteney Cox will be back as Gale Weathers. New cast members include Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Josh Segarra, and Henry Czerny. Neve Campbell announced in June she would not be returning over a salary dispute.

The new film releases on March 31st, 2023 and is described as follows:

“The Scream saga continues with the four survivors of the Ghostface killings as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter.”
