Sherri Saum Joins Cast of Netflix’s Locke & Key
TV Line reports that actress Sherri Saum (The Fosters) has joined the cast of Netflix’s Locke & Key adaptation. She will reportedly play a central role in the upcoming adaptation of the Joe Hill comic.
She joins the cast alongside Connor Jessup as Tyler Locke, Emilia Jones as Tyler’s sister Kinsey, and Jackson Robert Scott as their youngest brother Bode.
Locke & Key tells the story of three siblings who, following their father’s grisly murder, are moved by their mother back to the family’s home in Massachusetts. There, Bode (and then the others) discover that their new home is home to a set of magical keys with different abilities. In addition, there is a demon who is seeking its freedom and will do anything necessary to obtain the keys.
The series runs ten episodes, with Carlton Cuse (Lost) and Meredith Averill (The Haunting of Hill House) as showrunners. It does not yet have an official release date.
