Stranger Things Maze Coming to Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights

Fans of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things will be able to experience the Upside Down themselves later this fall at Universal Studios in Hollywood, Orlando and Singapore. Fans will be able to enter the Upside Down in the form of new supernatural mazes at the theme parks. You can check out a new preview for the announcement below.

This marks the first time ever that Universal Studios Theme Parks has partnered with Netflix. Each park in Orlando, Hollywood and Singapore will have new mazes inspired by the first season of the critically-acclaimed TV show.

Fans and park attendees will be able to enter the Upside Down and face the supernatural. Additionally, the chittering, predatory Demogorgon from the show will be staking unwitting guests in the maze as they encounter famous scenes, characters and environments from the show.

Universal Theme Parks is collaborating with Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer and executive producer Shawn Levy for the project to bring an authentic experience for fans. The mazes will feature the Hawkins National Laboratory, under the U.S. Department of Energy, the Byers home adorned with an erratic display of flashing Christmas lights and the eerie Upside Down woods, which will ooze the floating orb-like spores.

Universal Theme Parks kicks off its Halloween Horror Nights season for 2018 on Friday, September 14 in Hollywood and Orlando. It will start on Friday, September 28 in Singapore. Ticket packages and more details are available at HalloweenHorrorNights.com.
