Tessa Thompson Seemingly Confirms Avengers: Endgame Appearance
Tessa Thompson appears to have confirmed that she will appear in Avengers: Endgame as Valkyrie. Thompson posted to Twitter starting her commitment to giving opportunities to more women and people of color in the journalism field, noting that she has two films coming out this year: “One in April and in June.”
The June release is Men in Black: International, which opens on June 14th. However, as of now she has no other films listed as being in any state of completion enough to open in April, which happens to be when Endgame opens. While there is a chance she has an independent film that has not been publicized yet, the obvious conclusion is a Valkyrie appearance. Valkyrie was confirmed by the Russos to have survived the events of Infinity War, both the attack on the Asgardian ship and “The Decimation,” as Thanos’ snap is known.
I also committed to Doubling the number of women and POC journalist covering the films I have coming out this year. (One in April and in June). TimesUpx2 https://t.co/WFFSXSwuhB
